"The Veterans Breakfast Club" Film Screening - 11/11/2013

Christopher Rolinson, a professor of photojournalism at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pa., premiers his new documentary "The Veterans Breakfast Club" on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 in the JVH Auditorium at Point Park. The 30-minute film explores the psychological trauma shared by veteran soldiers and how their experiences in the field impact their lives today.

Light the Night, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Benefit - 9/21/2103

Carla and Heath Warner of Mill Run and their daughter Adelena, 2, carry glowing balloons for the 14th annual Light the Night march Saturday at Uniontown Area High School. The Warners and their friends were able to raise over $1,500 for Heath's survivor father Edward.
Attendees of the 14th annual Light the Night fundraiser march through the cafeteria of Uniontown Area High School. The annual event, which is regularly held outdoors for the balloon launch, was moved inside due to Saturday's heavy rains.
Campaign Coordinator Christopher Omiros welcomes attendees to the 14th annual Light the Night Saturday evening at Uniontown Area High School. 2013 is Omiros's third march which raises money and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Cat's Courts Dedication Ceremony - 8/10/2013

The dedication ceremony of the new Cat's Courts sand volleyball court was held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Mountz Creek Park in Connellsville. The courts were created and dedicated in memory of the late Catherine "Cat" Healy who died at the hands of an intoxicated driver in June.
