Day Of Decision Rally - 5/20/2014

Hundreds of people filled the streets of Shadyside on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Day of Decision rally in celebration of Pennsylvania becoming the 18th state to legalize same-sex marriage.

Steve Herforth of Mt. Washington takes a selfie under the massive rainbow banner that spanned across Ellsworth Avenue during Tuesday's Day of Decision Rally in Shadyside. Herforth and his partner of 26 years, Peter Karlovich, plan to get married next March on their anniversary.
Vic Walczak of the Pennsylvania A.C.L.U. welcomes guest to Tuesday's Day of Decision Rally in Shadyside. Walczak has been heavily involved in the Whitewood v. Wolf case which was filed in 2013 and ultimately led to Pennsylvania's ban on same-sex marriage being ruled unconstitutional.
